About Me
I have experience working in television, and entertainment production, and am proficient in most technologies including, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Microsoft office etc..
For me I’ve always put significant importance on understanding different perspectives, and being culturally aware, so academically, not only have I dedicated my studies to studying the craft of filmmaking, receiving my BA, and developing my own style, but I also focused my education on studying race and ethnicity centering in government and history, receiving my minor in social sciences. Did I mention that I can write and speak Japanese? Japanese has been apart of my education since high school, having minored in it in college.
In the aspect of production, not only do I have extensive experience working with different camera equipment (ursa mini black magic, Sony fs700 etc..) but I also have experience fulfilling numerous roles in the production process. I have coordinated shoots, set up and filmed live events, and edited footage that has been used in final cuts for projects and distribution of sale and streaming.
My experience also goes beyond behind the scenes as well. I’ve acted in multiple short films, and I’ve appeared as an extra on the hit USA show “Queen of the South” starring Alice Braga a couple of times. I’ve even done professional stand in work for the show. So, I would say I have great understanding of the importance each role plays not only off the set, but on the set as well.
My most recent experience was as a video editor at Planet X, marketing & branding start-up that has account work across the following industries: Wine & Spirits, Music, Film, Television, and Professional Sports & Events.
In my spare time you can find me collaborating with local artist to shoot music videos, or utilizing animation programs to practice animating.
